Joel Russo - Founder & CEO
For the past several years Joel has been instrumental in designing actions and managing all aspects of manufacturing for another custom action business in the industry. Experience led him to understanding the qualities required to make a premium action that is reliable and performs above the rest. His old designs were industry leaders and won many competitions. However, unwilling to compromise on his demanding standards and fundamental business practices, Joel decided to separate from that company.
Joel took the time and resources to build upon his original designs and has been able to eliminate a few flaws by making dimensional and engineering changes. Terminus is the result of his hard work and is the superior 3-lug action in every way. Every flaw has been addressed, tested, and overcome. Yet, in the midst of a great product our customer is even more important. The values of maintaining high moral character, honesty and integrity are the principals from which Terminus is founded.
Joel has extensive LE and military experience. He is Airborne Qualified and served as the Rear Battle Planning Officer in the 28th Infantry Division before his early retirement as a Captain. Joel also worked exclusively with BANC 3, a defense contractor, to develop the PAWS smart scope. PAWS brings the ballistic calculation process directly into the weapon by merging real-time ballistic processing and sensor data for automatic reticle correction in order to enhance shooter performance and save warfighter lives. Later, while employed as a Special Agent in the PA Attorney Generals Office he was responsible for firearms training for the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
